If you love a quick read gripping thriller - you need this book in your life!
The Hunting Party is a classic whodunnit but written in a very interesting way with viewpoints and first person narrative from all the characters. From the offset we know someone dies but don’t know who until the very end. I lapped it up! I have also read The Guest List by Lucy Foley and lapped that up too - I’m such a sucker for an easy to read and gripping thriller, especially when life is a bit rough!
Of course I didn’t predict the ending because I never ever do, but I did really enjoy the book! I think I maybe preferred the Guest List (Lucy Foley’s other novel) a little more but that could have been because I read The Hunting Party so soon after it, and they are written in exactly the same structure with very similar storylines. Not sure, but will still definitely recommend both, especially to a fan of a thriller.
