‘Me' does not fail to delight. This book is one of the most readable memoirs I’ve read - immersed is the only way I can describe how involved you feel while reading this. Elton John leaves no stone unturned and is unapologetically honest throughout, making the writing so raw and real.

The whole book was a rollercoaster of a ride meeting so many famous faces along the way, and it was so fun to hear more about them, although I shed a tear MANY a time throughout.

The book definitely felt so extremely British?! I couldn’t really even pinpoint what it was about it that made it so, but it really really did. I think Elton himself loves being British and so it often meant a lot to his story. It was lovely to read a story of such a great rockstar who is so internationally successful that loves his roots and I still felt at home reading it despite his global escapades.

Anyway, totally totally recommend if you’re looking for a memoir that’s both totally lighthearted and is also going to break you into pieces. A joy to read. Thank you sir Elton!
