Staying F.R.E.S.H.

F.R.E.S.H. is the acronym for Flowing in Rich Education, Success and Happiness. This summer leadership enrichment course is sure to keep the attending youth engaged and learning throughout the commonly idle summer months. The goal is not only to fine tune reading and comprehension skills, but to also equip the attendees with important leadership qualities, organizational management abilities, and inner self-confidence.

Attendees will work on public speaking skills as well as habits and attributes needed for delivering a great presentation. Attendees will prepare week by week throughout the course for a 5-minute presentation during the last session.
Attendees will receive four (4) books over the 8 weeks and countless tips and habits for success. Staying F.R.E.S.H. scholars will have access to influential guest speakers throughout the course and will be inspired by their interactions and words of wisdom. All attendees must be between the ages of 13 and 19. Staying F.R.E.S.H. sessions are 90 minutes each Friday morning, beginning June 9th, 2017 at the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library (2401 Welton St. Denver, CO 80205).
